A complex blend of our very best clays, loams and sands, processed, blended, refined, sterilised and analysed to produce the finest grade top dressing for tennis courts.

GOSTD tennis seed bed loam is produced to the same high specification as our world renowned tennis top dressing, to ensure perfect compatibility throughout the court’s construction and promote good development growth. It can also be used to revitalise an existing tennis court after hollow tyning or koroing procedures have been carried out.

GOSTD 50 Football, Hockey & Rugby Pitch Top Dressing & Soil Conditioner is a natural free-draining medium loam with a light friable soil structure, primarily for use in the renovation of goal mouths and centre strips.

GOSTD 50 is also recommended for use as a soil conditioner where hollow tyning is required on sports turf. GOSTD 50 promotes excellent root growth and tillering on badly worn surfaces.

Typical analysis: 65% Sand / 20% Silt / 15% Clay

GOSTD 25 is a light sandy loam specially formulated for the top dressing of football and rugby pitches.

GOSTD 25 is also beneficial for playing surfaces with poor soil structure, where general soil improvement is required. GOSTD 25 is recommended for use after hollow tyning or verti-draining procedures have been carried out.

Typical analysis: 65% Sand / 25% Silt / 10% Clay

GOSTD 70:30 Golf Green Top Dressing & Soil Conditioner combines a light friable sterilised loam and medium to coarse grade washed sand to provide a free-draining open textured material that relieves compaction. This promotes the excellent root growth and tillering necessary for the maintenance of a dense sward.

Formulated specifically for the fine sward required to produce the perfect playing surfaces required for Golf and Bowling Greens. Alternative sand to soil ratios are available made to order.

Typical analysis: 88% Sand / 5% Silt / 7% Clay

Organically Enriched Loam is an ideal material for general garden construction, preparation of shrub beds, planting and lawn areas prior to seeding and turfing, and the filling of large containers and pots. When using in containers and pots, add additional grit for drainage and feed when necessary with fertiliser of choice.

Our Organically Enriched Loam is a combination of finely screened medium clay based loam, blended with rich shredded and composted organic matter, to provide all the natural plant nutrients required. Only natural materials are used, there are no chemical additives or peat of any kind in the product, which has an approximate pH of 7.0.

Simply the best time saver for your garden and vegetable patch, mulching has a host of benefits. Covering the soil around plants with a protective layer of material will considerably suppress weed growth and help retain moisture, meaning less time spent weeding and watering. Mulching also provides additional plant nutrients enriching the soil and stimulating plant growth and health.

GOSTD brand Organic Mulch is a rich shredded and composted natural organic material. There are no chemical additives or peat in GOSTD M2000, which has a pH of approximately 7.0. Our Organic Mulch is a recycled material, enhancing, not depleting our environment.

Our aim is to produce a loam to perfectly match the customer’s requirements from village cricket club to county ground standard.

This entails utilising a good medium loam with sufficient clay content, low silt and good corresponding soil strength to achieve consistent bounce and reliability. Our GOSTD cricket base loam meets all these requirements.

GOSTD cricket seed bed loam is made to the same exacting standards as our highly recommended cricket top dressings. It is produced to the client’s specification dependant on the standard of cricket being played.

The recommended depth of 50mm of seed bed loam overlying the GOSTD cricket base loam ensures perfect compatibility thereby avoiding root break after construction and producing the fast, safe, pacey surface required for cricket.

GOSTD tennis base loam is the ideal material for tennis court construction, made to the same exacting standards as our highly regarded GOSTD tennis top dressings.

Depending on the client’s specification and depth of construction we recommend several millimetres of base loam topped with at least 50mm of seed bed loam, thus giving complete compatibility throughout the construction process to ensure good root growth and a healthy vigorous sward.
